PTFE Coating:
PTFE is one of the Fluorocarbon polymers which can be formulated and applied on fasteners with dry film thickness of 15 to 25 microns and is available in different colors such as blue, black and green.
PTFE shows excellent resistance to water and chemicals and is extensively used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Cadmium Coating:
This metal coat which is based on cadmium has white silver color and can be applied with dry film thickness of 10 to 25 microns according to ASTM B7666. Parts coated with cadmium can resist salt spray as long as 1000 hours according to ASTM B117.
The final coat shows great chemical resistance in salty waters and humid environments and can be a good choice for mentioned conditions. Therefore it is widely used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Ceramic Coating:
These coatings are based on special ceramic which yields great impact resistance and low brittleness and is specialized for fasteners such as bolts, nuts and stud bolts used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Dry film thickness is approximately 20 microns and the final coat shows excellent resistance to acids and chemicals and it also yields excellent heat resistance up to 450 ºC.
